Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience with office management tools, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Provide administrative support to the Public Works division. Process Purchase Orders and Cheque Requisitions as required. Enter Work Order Requests and follow up to ensure completion and inform the Director of deficiencies or lapses in the purchasing process. Successfully connect, share reports, and financial documents with the WDN Finance team as required. Maintain a central filing system. Create and maintain spreadsheets as requested by the PW Director. Maintain an administrative procedures manual and review/update as required. Coordinate meetings as requested. Attend meetings as assigned by the PW Director. Act as the recording secretary at meetings as requested or assigned by the PW Director. Supervise and support the Public Works Receptionist. Provide PW Receptionist relief when required or requested. Maintain and update the WDN Public Works Asset management database using the designated Asset Management system. Track and record, both pre and post inspections WDN Public Works vehicles and equipment, maintenance, and requested repairs. Book and confirm maintenance and repairs for WDN Public Works vehicles and riding equipment in conjunction with the Public Works Coordinator as required / requested. Collect quotes from approved vendors and suppliers as required. Effectively communicate with Community members, Nation members, vendors and suppliers using both verbal and written communication tools. Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and safe work practices, including the successful completion of required Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) training. Other related duties as assigned by the Director.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
