Job Description



Under the direction of the Deputy Fire Chief \xe2\x80\x93 Support Services, the Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and support of the various administrative duties involved with the Office of the Fire Chief. Primary responsibilities include: coordination of the administrative staff tasks and ensuring coverage for the office including vacation scheduling and unplanned absences; providing clerical and administrative support to the Chief and Deputy Chiefs; data management of the Records Management System; preparation of various types of reports and statistical data to support report generation; acting as recording secretary for assigned committees and meetings including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas; and handling confidential material as required by the Fire Chief.
