The Administrative Assistant/Training Advisor will undertake and ensure e?cient operation of the o?ce, assists with key operational duties, and supports the work of management and other sta? while keeping to the Indigenous Corporate Training Vision, Mission and Values. In addition the position will be one that will help increase sales - B2B or B2C. This is an in-o?ce position, at an hourly rate of $27/hour, on a renewable 3 month contract, with full time employment possibly after that.
Office administration
Use word processing and other software to prepare reports, memos, and documents (including Google Workspace).
Plan and coordinate sta?/internal events in collaboration with other sta?.
Provide input towards administrative duties and procedures to be more e?cient.
Answer general email and form inquiries.
Check mail - at the o?ce and at the PO Box.
Ship training materials and other items as needed.
Receive shipments either at the o?ce or the storage locker as needed.
Keep storage area organized.
Direct other inquiries to the appropriate team members.
Other administrative duties as required.
Training administration
Ensure that all post purchase communications (by form, chat, email or phone) are dealt with in a timely manner (within 24 hours during the week and on Monday for those received Friday afternoon and over the weekend).
Ensure that the associated tasks (ex Asana) are completed in a timely manner.
Ensure that all orders from the Indigenous Relations Academy are verified, and properly fulfilled as per (a) above.
Ensure that all private group enrollments are completed in a timely manner.
Ensure the timely distribution of material to the trainers and clients.
Support trainers and sta? with meeting, travel and other arrangements.
Job Requirements:
Experience with o?ce administration, records management, and/or event planning.
1-3 years of experience in an o?ce setting or equivalent.
Detailed and focused with excellent customer service.
Access to a vehicle.
Basic knowledge of CRM, task managing software (ex. Asana, HubSpot) is a benefit. Quick to learn new software applications and o?ce procedures.

Training Provided
We provide comprehensive training to set you up for success, including self-guided courses from Indigenous Corporate Training, task management training using Asana, and CRM onboarding with HubSpot. Experienced team members will also be there during your onboarding & training for guidance.
