Office Administrator / Import Specialist

Key Responsibilities:



Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and in-person client inquiries Provide excellent customer service across all communication channels Manage importing and shipping logistics Invoice clients and process payments accurately and efficiently Review hunting documentation for accuracy and compliance Prepare CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) applications on behalf of hunters Perform general administrative duties, including document preparation and filing Utilize Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for tracking and reporting Support bookkeeping processes; experience with QuickBooks is an asset Follow up with clients and stakeholders proactively Work both independently and as part of a team to solve problems Manage multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail Understand and support industry-specific needs; knowledge of the hunting and fishing industry is a strong asset

Qualifications:



Proven experience in a customer service and administrative role Prior experience with import procedures and shipping coordination Familiarity with reviewing official documentation for accuracy Understanding of or experience with CITES regulations is an asset Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with QuickBooks (preferred, but not required) Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Able to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on tasks Interest in or knowledge of the hunting and fishing industry is considered a strong advantage

Additional:



Must have reliable source of transportation as public transit is not close
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
