What is the opportunity?

Join RBC Dominion Securities in this opportunity as Administrative Assistant. You will work closely with the Executive Assistants in a challenging and highly motivated environment. In addition to providing all levels of administrative functions, you will also coordinate office activities, approve expense reports, work on projects and take on other responsibilities as required.

What will you do?

  • Perform daily administrative functions in a punctual, professional manner while providing the highest quality client service
  • Coordinate various office activities -ordering of supplies, printing documents, filing, etc.
  • Process expense reports
  • Support the Executive Assistants on various projects as required
  • Conduct various administrative functions as required including the review of incoming mail, answering telephone calls, etc.
Must have:
  • 2 years of experience as an assistant in a large firm
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and able to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to deal with varying personalities
  • Excellent writing skills
Nice to have:
  • Industry experience (experience in investments)
  • Event planning experience is an asset
