About the Opportunity
The
Administrative Assistant - Reception
will perform a variety of administrative duties in support of the Administration. Reception is the first point of contact at ?aq?am, greeting and directing guests and callers, and directing them to the appropriate staff member.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Direct visitors to employee or appropriate person.
Maintain manual and electronic information filing systems.
Arrange all boardroom bookings
Prepare and turn over boardroom between meetings
Maintain overall stocking and cleanliness of boardroom and reception area
Assist in creation and mail distribution of monthly newsletters, posters, and other correspondence as required.
Provide notifications to Community and staff regarding meetings, events and interdepartmental deadlines.
Timely recording and distribution of departmental mail, cheques and general inbox correspondence.
Track and upkeep office supply inventory for Administration building
Plan and pickup catering for various departmental meetings and events

More About You
In order to qualify for the
Administrative Assistant - Reception
position, you must have a post-secondary diploma in Office Administration or a combination of relevant education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, Canva, and other computer programs is required, as well as strong file management skills, and an ability to work with the organizational document management system.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, attention to accuracy and detail, and ability to multitask and manage competing demands. Proof of a clear criminal record including vulnerable sector check is required, as well as provision of a clean driver's abstract and a Valid Class 5 driver's license.
Salary will commensurate with education and experience from a range ($36,859 - $57,451 annually) and includes a favorable benefits package and pension plan.
