Pittman Asphalt, part of the Terus Construction Ltd. group, is seeking a seasonal Administrative Assistant for its Prince George operations. Terus Construction Ltd. is a leader in the construction industry in British Columbia. This position reports to the Office Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Answering phones and greeting people who come through the office.
Receipting or receiving materials and supplies ordered by PO and non-PO invoices.
Record the delivery of materials to construction jobs, pit to pit transfers and FOB asphalt and gravel sales.
Requisition materials and supplies
Ensuring hired truck tickets, timecards and equipment pre-trip checklists are collected daily for processing
Filing and sorting of truck tickets and time and reconciling with the differing work sites.
Other general office duties
Skills/Experience
Excellent computer skills with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent organization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Post-secondary courses in office administration, accounting/finance preferred
