Job Description


LMC Healthcare is a network of specialized clinics providing complete care in Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism. LMC\xe2\x80\x99s clinical network is comprised of 12 Healthcare Centres of Excellence, in 3 provinces (Ontario, Alberta and Quebec). Our 50 Endocrinologists, many of whom are nationally renowned for their areas of expertise, are supported by a team of highly qualified Medical Office Administrators, Registered Nurses, Dietitians, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists and Clinical Research Professionals.

Currently, our rapidly expanding team is in need of an Administrative Assistant who can work for us on a permanent full-time basis at our Head Office location, supporting and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and project support to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer, as well as support as needed to other members of the senior management team. The AA acts as the first point of contact to the CEO and CMO.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the calendar for the executive team
  • prepare a wide variety of letters, documents, correspondence and biographies
  • planning and coordinating meetings, teleconferences, and travel (domestic and international)
  • conduct background research on medical projects
  • event management and support \xe2\x80\x93 full cycle
  • coordinate and plan off-site meetings and seasonal celebrations
  • recording key management meetings
  • format reports, presentations and briefs
  • liaison for design and printing needs
Skills and Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 1 - 3 years of administrative or research experience
  • superior multi-tasking skills
  • strong writing and research skills
  • proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • adaptable in a fast paced environment
  • fluency in Pubmed and other scientific search platforms
  • ability to take initiative and problem-solve independently
  • required to occasionally work in the evening and weekends
