Administrative Assistant Job opportunity with Ottawa Boat Cruise/EKEAU!   • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Plan meetings and schedule appointments
  • Write and distribute email, letters, and forms in both French and English
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Assist and report to President and senior managers.
  • Research (Grants, competition studies etc\xe2\x80\xa6)
Requirements and skills
  • Demonstrated experience as an administrative assistant or office administrative assistant (references required)
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment (printers and fax machines)
  • Mastery of MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with multitasking capability
  • High school diploma: additional qualification as an administrative assistant or secretary would be an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year Benefits:

Education:
  • Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)

  • French and English (required)
