With over two decades of industry expertise, we've built a firm with a reputation for excellence, uniquely geared to the task of assisting our clients in making long-term improvements to their energy procurement strategy.We have an immediate requirement to fill the position of Administrative Assistant, this position requires an individual with strong office administrative knowledge and attention to detail! As a creative and proactive member of the team, you show initiative and good judgment when addressing challenges. You are a self-starter and continually look for opportunities to improve work practices and processes, are results oriented and enjoy working as part of a team.Competencies:

  • Experience with QuickBooks accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS excel
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • Candidate should be a self-starter and have the ability to receive a task and run with it
  • Self-motivated and independent, detailed oriented, strong work ethic, and high integrity and ethical standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and to work in a team environment to ensure reporting deadlines are met
  • Bilingualism is a plus
Here are some of the tasks our administrative assistant will be responsible for:
  • Assisting with forecasting cash flow
  • Manage the AR and AP departments
  • Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
  • Customer Financial Reporting
  • Invoicing
**This position is in office, therefore we are only accepting applications from candidates living in the Ottawa-Gatineau region**Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per yearBenefits:

Education:

Experience:
  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
