Tasks
Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc. Supervise other workers Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences Determine and establish office procedures and routines Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages Answer electronic enquiries Order office supplies and maintain inventory Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents Respond to employee questions and complaints Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies Plan and control budget and expenditures Establish and implement policies and procedures Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures Oversee payroll administration Oversee the analysis of employee data and information Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
