Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for an Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities:
Assist with facilities management; office space planning, manage seating maps, coordinate with landlord - booking loading dock/garbage recycle/ water filter replacement, etc.
Coordinate during relocation projects, staff moves, office leasing and renovation projects
Provide mailing services, such as receiving and sending both domestic and international mail and shipment
Work with Business Units and Asset Manager for distribution and return of IT assets (PC, monitors, etc.), including asset disposal and asset inventory checking and documentation
Manage internal and external visitor access control and registration
New hire set up, including ID card preparation and data entry to security system, parking passes, computer distribution, etc.
Maintain office operational services, including coffee/water service, first aid and office cleaning, etc.
What you\'ll bring to the team:
Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, or relevant discipline
2+ years of relevant experience in office administration
Strong English communication skills
Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated organization and time-management skills
Strong knowledge of office procedures and practices
