Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations within our office, particularly in a dental environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a customer service-oriented mindset. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing various clerical tasks, ensuring smooth communication within the office, and providing exceptional support to both staff and clients.

Responsibilities



Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records. Manage phone calls with professionalism, providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the dental office calendar. Maintain organized files and documentation, ensuring easy access to information. Support the dental team with clerical duties as needed, including preparing patient charts and handling correspondence. Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks related to patient billing and office expenses. Collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming environment for patients.

Experience



Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required. Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus; familiarity with computerized systems is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are necessary for interacting with clients and colleagues. A background in customer service will be beneficial in fostering positive relationships with patients. Experience in clerical work is advantageous, showcasing attention to detail and accuracy.
