About the role
We?re looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our growing Marine Claims team!
What you?ll do here:
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing claims transactions; entering data into the Claims Platform and Guidewire, maintaining filing systems; and providing administrative support to the claims team.
Key Accountabilities

1. Claims Support
Opens and assigns new claims files.
Answers and returns phone calls and e-mail inquiries.
Enters claims information into the Platform and Guidewire
Maintains up to date electronic notes.
Processes Salvage cheques and invoices.
Resolves routine administrative problems.
2. Customer Experience
Ensures all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner.
Ensures a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained.
3. Stakeholder Relationships
Develops and maintains positive working relationships with claimants, insureds, brokers, and service providers.
What you bring to the table:
At least 1 year of experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
[Bilingual (French and English)]
