Who You Are




You are a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative professional who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment. You are comfortable working across shop, site, and office settings, supporting people operations. You understand the importance of document control, confidentiality, and accuracy, and you take pride in keeping records current, complete, and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities



Track employee certifications, training, and required documentation; monitor expiry dates and notify HR of upcoming renewals or non-compliance. Prepare and manage recruitment and onboarding documentation, including offer letters, Day 1 packages, and onboarding checklist completion. Administer end-to-end payroll, including timecard review and reconciliation, payroll processing, payroll submissions, record retention, and employee payroll inquiries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable legislation. Support benefits and leave administration by distributing enrollment packages, maintaining trackers, and filing medical notes, leave forms, and accommodation documentation confidentially. Assist with preparation and distribution of HR communications such as policy reminders, announcements, and training notices. Maintain controlled versions of HR forms and templates in SharePoint. Order and track administrative and office supplies, maintaining inventory trackers and reorder points.

Required Qualifications



2-3 years of administrative experience (Human Resources) Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, SharePoint, and Teams Comfort working with shop-floor staff and handling physical documentation Demonstrated discretion when handling confidential employee and medical information Strong written and verbal communication skills Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively

Preferred (but not required):



Experience administering full-cycle payroll in a manufacturing, construction, or multi-shift environment. Familiarity with Canadian payroll legislation, statutory deductions, and Record of Employment (ROE) processes.

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Location: Penticton, BC Environment: Industrial manufacturing environment, shop floor and office.
