The Role Working out of our Gander office, in the position of Office Assistant you will provide support to multiple functions/disciplines and perform a variety or services in this new and evolving role including but not limited to: - Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and presentations
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for multiple team members
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records To Fit the Role You have:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role
- Proficient in using computerized systems such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and experience using QuickBooks is a plus
