The District of North Saanich is seeking applications from motivated professionals to serve in the capacity of the full-time position of Administrative Assistant - Finance.
Under the direction of the Manager of Financial Services, the Administrative Assistant - Finance performs clerical and administrative support at a senior level as well as accounting work of moderate complexity in the District\xe2\x80\x99s Financial Services Department.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a high school diploma supplemented by successful completion of administrative and accounting courses leading to a two-year Diploma in Business Administration, two years related experience including a solid working knowledge of computerized accounting systems, preferably in a local government environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
This position is a Union position and is subject to the terms and conditions in the collective agreement between District of North Saanich and the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 374.
