Job Summary

As a family brokerage with five locations we are looking for a goal oriented individual to join and support our team. We offer competitive wages and benefit packages along with tuition, course, and certification coverage to aid in your professional growth.

The successful candidate will report directly to the management team at the Atwood location, working very closely with them daily.

Role and Responsibilities

- including but not limited to:

Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management Aid in the production of quotes and applications through proper document formatting, proofreading and final quality check Completing and submitting documentation to the companies as instructed Provide administrative support as needed Process transactions including new business, renewals and endorsements Help to coordinate and schedule appointments, events and maintain calendars Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies, rules, and regulations. Keep up to date on changing requirements Establish your own work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met

Ability to exercise own discretion and judgement is critical to success in this role. Please note this list of duties is not comprehensive and will ever-change based on what is needed at that time.


Technical Skills:



Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Insurance knowledge and experience would be considered an asset Experience working with a Broker Management System and Applied Rating services/Compu Quote is preferred but not a requirement Comfortable with technology and the use of applications such as MS Word and Excel Ability to multi-task, prioritize and follow-up on uncompleted tasks in a timely manner Able to balance speed with strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Highly motivated self-starter with a professional, friendly and respectful sales driven attitude
