We are looking for an Administrative Assistant AO/SDL to join our Prevention Field Services team in our Fort St. John office.In this role, youxe2x80x99ll provide work direction to support staff and assist with office administration to facilitate effective operations with a high standard of customer service.   • Provide work direction to support staff and ensure departmental work standards are maintained
  • Orientate new employees to the office and arrange for and assist in the technical training of staff
  • Assist the manager in the administration of the office by preparing reports, receiving incoming mail, and establishing and maintaining files and records
  • Develop and implement changes in procedures and workflow
  • Set up and maintain office systems and procedures including looking after supplies and equipment
  • Assist the manager in recruitment testing

Your background and experience
  • Completion of grade 12
  • A minimum of 9 months of work experience in an administrative or clerical role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office xe2x80x93 Word and Excel
