Cambrian College's Academic Integrity & Copyright Office requires an Administrative Assistant on a two-year contract basis in accordance with the Initiatives/Opportunities language of the Support Staff Collective Agreement starting in September 2025.
Note: Internal candidates, as defined by the Full-Time Support Staff Collective Agreement, will be given first consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Academic Integrity & Copyright, the Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Academic Integrity Office. The Administrative Assistant will handle a variety of tasks such as:
Assisting the Manager with daily administrative tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings and handling correspondence
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents,
Maintaining office supplies by checking inventory and ordering items as needed
Serve as the first point of contact for the office, responding to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff regarding academic integrity and copyright policies and procedures
Coordinate and distribute internal and external communications, including emails, newsletters and notices
Manage office operations, including filing systems, office equipment and facilities
Handle routine administrative and financial tasks such as timekeeping, processing invoices and expense reports
Maintain, update and analyze records and databases related to academic integrity cases and copyright requirements
Assist in planning and organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions on academic integrity and copyright topics
Coordinate logistics for events; including booking venues, arranging catering and preparing materials.
Support the development and dissemination of policies, guidelines, and educational materials related to academic integrity and copyright
Qualifications
------------------
Required
Must be a graduate of a two-year Business Diploma program or equivalent. (A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application) Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an educational setting preferably as an Administrative Assistant
Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
High attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Experience in a postsecondary educational setting.
Assets/Preferred:
Recognized training in Mental Health First Aid and/or SafeTalk would be considered an asset.
Project Management experience would be considered an asset
Familiarity with academic integrity and copyright issues would be considered an asset
