ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Located in a transit-convenient area of Abbotsford, this position comes with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for reception, couriers and mail; all office equipment maintenance and ordering supplies. The Administrative Assistant will support managers with travel arrangements, calendar and meeting scheduling and general organization.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Handle customer queries and concerns via phone/in-person/e-mail.
Preparing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail/packages.
Operating photocopier/scanner to maintain confidential documents.
Printing and publishing monthly newsletter, producer statements, and statistics.
Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of common areas.
Maintaining and ordering office supplies.
Arranging Board and Staff travel/(on-site and off-site) meetings.

THE REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of administrative experience.
A legal background is an asset.
Post secondary education in business administration, legal or related.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and office needs.

COMPENSATION
Annual salary up to $56,500. Unionized position, employment terms are subject to collective agreement. Flex days; competitive vacation. Public Service Pension Plan and excellent medical benefits.
