Garda Fort McMurray is currently seeking an Administration Coordinator Security Guard for an Industrial Camp position. The Shift rotation is fourteen shifts on fourteen days off. Flights are free from Edmonton and Calgary hubs, accommodation and meals provided.

What does an Administration Security Guard in Fort McMurray Camp do?

Maintaining the schedule to ensure all post are staffed

Maintaining data base of employee certifications and licences

Familiarity with the computer systems and entering timesheets, covering dispatch, creating ID's and material passes.

Apply a broad knowledge of systems administration /analysis concepts, practices, and procedures data logs, securing information, back ups, access card tracking/deactivation

Work under deadlines and be capable of operating with only general supervision. Familiarity with standard best business practices and procedures.

Ability to work independently and as a contributing collaborator

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Perform surveillance rounds with multiple foot patrols of grounds and facilities, including climbing multiple flights of stairs safely and access control

Strong written and oral communication skills

Must be exceptionally well organized and detail oriented

Working in all types of seasonal weather conditions including dry dusty weather conditions and frigid winter temperatures.

Assist with other duties to be determined as office operation priorities change

Qualifications to become a Security Guard with Garda Fort McMurray Branch

Valid Alberta Security Guard licence

Valid Class 5 Drivers License (NON-GDL)

3-year clear Drivers Abstract

Valid Standard First Aid with AED and CPR - Level C

CSO or BSO

Wildlife Awareness and Fit Testing (training provided)

WHMIS

Pass drug and alcohol test

Administration diploma or Computer Systems Management diploma with proven experience of a minimum of two years.

Advanced computer sills (multi software systems, data entry and Microsoft office Suites)

Must have ability to extract and manipulate data using MS Access and Excel
