Job Description

Convyta Partners LP is a vibrant, growing firm based in Burnaby. We provide administration and expert advice on pension plans, investments, group benefits, and other matters.

We have an opportunity for an administration assistant full-time in-person position.

Responsibilities will include:

Collate data such as bond prices and transactions weekly, equity and cash balances monthly, and tax rates semi-annually Assist Senior Associate and Director with day-to-day tasks related to administration of investment funds Assist with month-end, quarter-end, semi-annual and year end reports Prepare weekly cash flow reports and master spreadsheets, initiates fund transfers as needed Document and update procedures Prepare semi-annual invoices Coordinate ad hoc printing, scanning and/or mailing of client deliverables Draft, format, and proofread documents, reports, and presentations with Word and/or PowerPoint Organize and maintain files, records, and documents, ensuring proper version control Assist with event planning, including RSVPs and catering Provide support for management and staff as required Collect, sort, and distribute mail Monitor and order office supplies Manage kitchen and boardroom cleanliness and supplies Oversee and assignment of office key fobs Coordinate office maintenance with landlord Coordinate with IT support and assist in maintenance of copier and printers
Work Experience:

Post-secondary education or formal training in financial management Mminimum 2+years work experience in banking, accounting or finance and investments field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross functional teams Strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrated organizational skills to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team Advanced level skills using a variety of computerized software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook), related databases Candidate must know how to use mailmerge and excel formulas and database functions
