About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Systems Administrator who is a fast learner to join our Global Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be a member of a global team responsible for supporting all our offices, data centers and cloud environments. This position is based in our Montreal office. You will play a key role in day-to-day systems administration, end-user support, and ongoing IT projects that enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the administration and support of Microsoft 365 Cloud services and EntraID resources.
Maintain and troubleshoot Windows and Linux Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Provide support for Windows/Linux desktops and Mac computers, including software installation, configuration, and updates.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various platforms.
Monitor system performance, perform routine audits, and assist in patch management.
Respond to technical support tickets and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Improve current and create new corporate IT procedures, configurations and troubleshooting steps documentation.
Involved in developing automations for various repetitive tasks
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in a systems administration or IT support role.
Hands-on experience with:
Microsoft 365 Cloud services (Microsoft 365 Admin, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams)
EntraID administration (EntraID, MS Intune, MS Autopilot)
Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, Group policies)
Windows 10/11, Linux and macOS support
General networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Basic understanding of IT security and network principles.
Maintain and support small office networking -- switches, Wi-Fi access points, VPN, and cabling.
Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure system reliability and compliance.
Document procedures, configurations, and known issues for knowledge sharing.
Excellent communication skills in English and French.
Availability to work on-site four days per week in Montreal.
