Overview
Our Prevention Services team is looking for a detail-oriented administrative support assistant with good customer service skills to perform a variety of intermediate administrative duties. If you\xe2\x80\x99re a self-starter, service-oriented, and enjoy helping internal and external clients, as well as performing diverse administrative work, consider joining us for this exciting permanent opportunity. This is a hybrid position where you will work primarily at our Richmond office \xe2\x80\x93 at least 3 days/week. What you\'ll do
As an admin support assistant prevention you will:
  • Prepare and transcribe meeting minutes
  • Organize and schedule meetings, seminars, out-of-town travel, and accommodations
  • Compile, prepare and report on departmental statistics and information such as Quarterly Budget Reports, inspections, and educational presentations
  • Create and submit various work orders such as UPRs, IT requests, and purchase orders
  • Type a variety of materials such as correspondence, forms, reports, memos, and presentations
  • Respond to routine inquiries and correspondence
  • Maintain reference material for department
  • Receive, sort, and forward mail as required

Your experience and educational background:
  • A minimum of grade 12 education
  • Recent, related work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Use Microsoft Word proficiently
  • Type a minimum of 60 words per minute
