This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, energetic team where your work really makes a difference. Think of it as the "control center" of our event team!

About the Role


You'll handle key financial and administrative operations that keep our events business running. Don't worry if you haven't done things exactly our way--we'll provide full training and support. What matters most is your accuracy, eagerness to learn, and positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities



Entering and managing data in our accounting and business systems

Processing accounts payable and receivable, and issuing customer invoices

Managing bills, supplier records, payroll, and tax filings (GST & PST)

Bank and credit card reconciliations

Generating financial and operational reports

Keeping our financial records neat, organized, and accurate

Supporting general office administration

Working closely with the management team to make sure everything runs like clockwork

Training & Support



Hands-on training and structured handover from our existing accounting team

Ongoing support as you grow into the role

Opportunity to improve processes and make the position your own

About You



Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance administration

Comfortable with payroll, invoicing, reconciliations, and tax filings

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Confident using accounting software and spreadsheets

Highly organized, reliable, and good at managing deadlines

Excited to work in a small business environment where you can really make an impact

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
