Project Administrative Assistant - Indigenous Business and Public Administration

Full time Position - 10 month term

Reporting to the Program Coordinator for the Indigenous Business and Public Administration faculty, this position is responsible for providing administrative support concerning the language revitalization project related to the FNUniv Indigenous Business faculty and SICC. This position performs support duties and will be responsible for oversight of administrative and financial processes within this contract. The person may be co-assigned to additional units / departments specific to the duties within the scope of the project to meet operational needs. The contract will run from June 12, 2025 to March 31, 2026.



This position is within the scope of a CUPE bargaining unit; therefore, it will be filled in accordance with Article 9 of a CUPE Collective Agreement.



Responsibilities:



Being the key contact person between FNUniv Business, SICC and Tribal Councils, helping to set-up meetings and confirm dates for session presentations Assisting with updating information for pre-work sessions and providing support for strategic and operational planning sessions Ensuring the workplan and budget are followed, maintained, and making changes as needed Providing support to the curriculum developers as needed Attending the numerous workshops and providing any documentation needed for the location Aiding the developers of the strategic and operational plans Submitting reports to SICC about the work completed and information they may request Create and complete invoices for payments concerning the project, managing the budget Duties with other FNUniv departments on the language revitalization project as assigned

Qualifications:



Administrative academic background (certificate, diploma, or relevant courses) and a High School Grade 12 Diploma; office experience would be an asset. A combination of education and experience will be considered for this position.



Salary:

CUPE Pay Grade 8: ($48,077 - $53,774)
