You will be responsible for investigating, evaluating and finalizing primarily Casualty claims advanced against the corporation on a national level. You will need to strive for a thorough knowledge of the Corporation and the operations of the various subsidiaries.

Here's where you'll be focusing:

Manage diverse but manageable levels of claims Work independently to conduct claim investigations; obtain and evaluate internal and external defence

materials and source any documentation that may assist in defending claims

Determine liability and course of action When opportunities present, attend district meetings of field personnel to support location management on

proper investigative techniques and loss prevention practices

Monitor loss prevention issues and communicate with team to source potential strategies to minimize risk and

source creative ways to communicate loss prevention strategies to field personnel

Produce quarterly claim boardereaus as well as generate and distribute claims metric reports to operations

executives

Thrive in a supportive team environment -including collaborating with full team to achieve best outcomes

What you have to offer:

Completed or working towards CIP designation plus 5 years relevant work experience Strong negotiation skills, confident nature, diplomatic, team player, kind mentor Successful autonomous worker but also gracious team member Innovative thinker who is keen to communicate new ideas & learn new skills Professional oral and written communication skills Courteous and friendly customer service skills Strong organizational skills Desire to work on a collaborative, diverse & engaged team
