Job Description
Community Health and Housing Association (CHHA) is hiring a full-time Addictions Support Worker for our Withdrawal Support Services program. This overnight position runs from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and offers a meaningful opportunity to support individuals on their journey through withdrawal and recovery.
Position: Addictions Support Worker - Overnight
Hours: 12:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Type: Full-time - weekends off
Hourly Wage: $18.00
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, non-judgmental support to individuals experiencing withdrawal symptoms Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and changes in condition Provide emotional support and engage in active, empathetic listening Maintain accurate and confidential records of all interactions and services provided Perform regular medication counts and follow documentation procedures Clean and maintain the facility to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
Qualifications:
Must successfully pass a Criminal Record Check and Adult/Child Abuse Registry Check Must be willing to complete all required training, courses, and workshops
