Your Opportunity:

The Seniors AMH Rehabilitation day program is located in Raymond at the Prairie Ridge Supported Living facility. The AMH Recovery Worker is part of a multidisciplinary team working under the supervision of the Mental Health Therapist and Registered Nurses and guidance from the Recreation Therapist to support rehabilitation treatment of our clients. The Recovery Worker schedule is days (0800 to 1615) and evenings (1145 to 2000) Monday to Friday.

Description:

As an Addiction and Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will contribute to the delivery of community based services to persons with a chronic addiction and/or severe and persistent mental illness using psychosocial rehabilitation principles, promoting client respect, autonomy, health and improved quality of life. Your duties will include carrying out assigned tasks in a client focused recovery plan which includes support to participate in activities of daily living, recreational and social activities, and educational and employment activities. You will work collaboratively with other health and service providers. In this position, you will work under the direction of a regulated health provider.
