We are seeking a passionate and experienced Acting Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in film, and/or television acting, with experience in teaching students of all skill levels. This role involves leading acting classes, providing personalized feedback, and helping students refine their craft.
Responsibilities
:
Teach acting techniques, including improvisation, scene study, monologue preparation, and character development.
Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their performance and confidence.
Prepare and guide students for auditions and performances.
Stay updated with industry trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with other instructors and staff on special projects, workshops, and showcases.
Attend staff meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, or a related field ( preferred), or equivalent experince
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an actor or acting instructor.
Strong understanding of various acting methods (Stanislavski, Meisner, Method, etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of different ages and backgrounds.
Experience with virtual teaching is a plus.
Preferred Skills
:
Professional acting credits in film & television.
Experience working with young actors or beginners.
Knowledge of audition techniques and the casting process.
Ability to provide mentorship and career guidance.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
