Accreditation Clerical Assistant

Primary Purpose: The Department of Family Medicine, which is a large complex provincially distributed medical education program in the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, and is dedicated to excellence in patient care, teaching and learning, research, and administration. The Accreditation Clerical Assistant will assist in the organization of accreditation documentation for the Department.

Nature of Work: Reporting to the manager, medical education, this position will support clerical functions related to accreditation document preparation. It is expected that the incumbent will be highly organized, have excellent interpersonal skills, and attention to detail in maintaining records and correspondence. Work is performed with general supervision in a fast-paced environment, subject to multiple conflicting deadlines and priorities, with frequent interruptions.

Accountabilities include:

  • Organizing databases and accreditation material
  • Ensuring consistency in labelling of electronic files
  • Collating documents
  • Proof reading
  • Cross checking material to ensure all required documents are present
  • Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Education: Completion of Grade 12 and a recognized post-secondary business/administrative program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience: One to three years of related experience in a health care environment in an administrative role. Knowledge of CFPC Residency Training Programs and experience is an asset. Experience working

Salary: The salary range, based on 1.0 FTE, is $21.55 - 25.13 per hour. The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
