Job Description

We are a growing, international manufacturing company headquartered in Surrey seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. This position is responsible for generating customer invoices, collecting and applying customer payments, and keeping track of customer accounts. Responsibilities

Set up and review customer accounts and perform credit checks

Generate invoices for sales orders and send to customers

Request, process, and record payments

Send customer statements and follow-up on outstanding balances

Record various bank transactions relating to incoming payments

Prepare month-end account reconciliations, including sales tax reconciliations

Other duties as required (or desired) within the accounting department

Qualifications

Minimum 1-year experience in Accounts Receivable

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work in a high-paced, open-office environment

Experience with Microsoft Excel is required

Job type and hours

Full-time position on-site at our Surrey office. Standard hours are 7am to 330pm.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
