Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor for the "Danstar Ferment AG" legal entity, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer payment applications, compliance with internal controls, and continuous improvement of customer accounting processes. This role requires strong prioritization skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities:
Process deposits (multiple bank accounts) in various currencies
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer balances caused by deposit applications
Enter customer sales prices
Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures
Send monthly account statements to customers, follow up, and document communications
Monitor aging reports and resolve outstanding issues with customers and internal stakeholders
Reconcile customer sub-ledgers (external & intercompany) with the general ledger
Communicate and provide support to sales offices in different countries
Assist with transitioning and integrating customer accounting processes into the new FSSC environment
Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to customer accounting

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required
Post-secondary education in finance/accounting
3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable
Strong understanding of AR processes, controls, and best practices
Experience with multi-company groups
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Cognos, Microsoft Dynamics)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, linking) and other Microsoft Office products
Organized and detail-oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and French
An asset
Experience in a shared services or multinational environment
