DESCRIPTION
The
Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for high volume of processing accounts receivable transactions for US / EMEA / APAC auctions. The primary mandate for the Specialist will be to ensure outstanding receivables remain within company targets, and that appropriate accounts receivable process and systems are adhered to.May be responsible for larger volume accounts.

onsible for confirming bid deposits and payments. Uplo
ads auction transactions and enter all accounting adjustments including deductions, price adjustments, collapses, sales tax, pilferage Proc
esses refunds for overpayments, bid deposits, collapses, price adjustments, and tax adjustments Ensu
res appropriate authorizations and policies are adhered to with respect to adjustments. Gene
rates invoices to bill customers, consignors and inter-company subsidiaries. Assi
sts sale site in collections and reconciling customer accounts; investigate and resolve any delinquencies. Noti
fies departments regarding pertinent receivable balances, adjustments and holdbacks in accordance with timelines. Scru
tinize aging of accounts receivable and provide input to management for determining allowance for doubtful accounts (AFDA) per policy. Resp
onsible for Reconciling AR sub-ledger to general ledger; Assist with month end closing and reporting and process monthly finance charges as applicable. Revi
ews sale site set-up to ensure that tax and administrative fees are correctly inputted. Rese
arch and respond to customer inquiries; Maintain customer account information; Filing and sorting paperwork . Perf

IFICATIONS 2-3

years of prior accounts receivable experience Cust
omer Service experience preferred. Flex
ibility and willingness to work varied hours and occasional overtime hours. Expe
rience working with ERP systems. Prof
iciency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Exce
llent verbal and written communication skills in English. Exce
llent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships. Outs
tanding analytical and problem-solving skills. Orga
nized, detailed-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Exce
llent time management skills and the ability to always meet deadlines. Self
