What is the Job?

The Accounts Receivable Representative will work the Credit Manager to provide support and assistance for the day-to-day corporate credit and collections functions.

This is an entry level accounting position. In this role candidates can learn our business and its accounting processes to grow into future Accounting and HR opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide polite, courteous and professional customer service. Display a high level of integrity and discretion when managing confidential information. Cash management and schedule reconciliation. Prepare and post confidential accounting transactions. Investigate variances in various accounting transactions. Provide technical accounting support and interpretation. Accurately and efficiently complete projects and special assignments Other duties as required.

What you need:

Previous accounting experience - AP/AR, general accounting is an asset. Post secondary education is an asset. Self -Motivated and organized with the ability to take own initiative on projects Strong accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills Flexible to changes in daily tasks when required Strictly upholds and enforces confidentiality of corporate information. Strong computer skills Experience with Microsoft 365, specifically Excel Experience with other operating systems such as CDK is an asset
