Job Title: Payroll Administrator & Accounts Receivable

Location: Western Redi-Mix Inc.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Payroll Administrator & Accounts Receivable clerk to manage essential day-to-day payroll and accounting tasks. This multifaceted role requires a proactive individual capable of maintaining records, handling sensitive information confidentially, and providing excellent customer service to both internal staff and external clients. The ideal candidate will be a key liaison between various departments, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:



? Payroll Support:

? Ensure all payroll and employee forms are correctly submitted to HR

? Enter and maintain employee hours for payroll submission.

? Assist employees with printing and recalling pay stubs.

? Process and maintain proper employee records.

? Submit and track employee expense reimbursements and PPE allowances.

? Maintain comprehensive and confidential HR files.

? Serve as the primary liaison with the benefits team for employee inquiries and administration.

? Ensure all vendor and worker compliance requirements, including WCB standards, are met and documented.

? Accounting & Finance Support:

? Collect customer payments via various methods.

? Submit and track all customer payments.

? Recall tickets and invoices for customer records

? Prepare and execute bank deposits accurately and promptly.

? Interface directly with customers to address account inquiries and resolve issues.

? Perform invoice corrections and adjustments as needed.

? Follow up on and process credit and debit memos.

Qualifications and Skills:



? Proven experience in an administrative support role, with exposure to both HR and accounting functions preferred.

? Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

? Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

? Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.

? Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive work ethic.

? Familiarity with relevant employment standards and workplace safety board compliance regulations is an asset.

? Must be able to work independently and have good time management
