Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounts receivable and collections? Are you seeking a role in the West Island ?
One of our long-standing clients-a reputable company specializing in manufacturing and repairs of electric appliances-is looking for an Accounts Receivable Technician to join their collaborative and inclusive team on a full-time, on-site basis in Pointe-Claire!

Language Requirement: English
- Level of Proficiency Required: Advanced
- Reasons for Language Requirement: Communications with suppliers across Canada
- Frequency of Use: Daily (for various tasks)
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years general accounting experience, including A/R and collections
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- Knowledge of Epicor ERP or similar systems is a strong asset
Your Day-to-Day:
- Collect accounts receivable and proactively follow up on overdue payments
- Call customers when payments are overdue to maintain positive relationships
- Enter cash receipts accurately (cheques, bank drafts, wire transfers, etc.)
- Reconcile customer accounts, G.L., and A/R sub-ledgers
- Follow up on outstanding items with relevant departments for returns or complaints
- Review credit applications and credit reports for prospective clients
- Assist with general accounting tasks (filing, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, weekly/month-end reports)
