Job Description


:We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to become a part of our team in the Real Estate Property and Facilities Management industry, located in Vancouver, British Columbia. The role involves handling customer accounts and ensuring the accuracy of information, as well as resolving customer inquiries. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities include:

  • Handling a substantial volume of collections, primarily through phone calls, but also via emails when necessary.
  • Processing billing tasks, involving both materials and service time.
  • Applying cash operations, including handling credit card transactions, cash, cheques, and wire transfers.
  • Conducting account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate and up-to-date accounts.
  • Utilizing software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks.
  • Performing commercial collections as part of the role.
  • Maintaining thorough records of all transactions and updates.
  • Ensuring all customer inquiries are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Handling all aspects of Accounts Receivable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Must have previous experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), including tracking, recording, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Billing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Proven experience with Cash Applications, including processing payments and reconciling accounts.
  • Familiarity with Cash Collections processes, including tracking overdue accounts and negotiating payments.
  • Previous experience with Commercial Collections, including managing relationships with commercial clients and resolving payment issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate complex spreadsheets.
  • Familiarity with Oracle financial software is required for managing and analyzing financial data.
  • Experience with QuickBooks for managing accounts and financial transactions.
  • Knowledge of SAP financial software for managing business operations and customer relations.
