Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the education industry based in Scarborough, Ontario. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining accurate customer records, processing payments, and providing exceptional customer service. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Keep customer credit records up to date and accurate
• Resolve customer inquiries via telephone and email
• Assist with student services as needed
• Use Oracle Financials and MS Great Plains Dynamics for various tasks
• Handle Accounts Receivable - Aging and Collections - Consumer
• Ensure all invoices to vendors are maintained and inventory is updated
• Utilize MS Excel to prepare journal entries
• Process credit card payments and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT\'s)
• Apply your skills in \'Credit - Collections\', \'Cash Applications\', and \'Accounts Receivable (AR)\' to ensure smooth financial operations
• Deliver high-quality customer service, dealing with student inquiries as required.

• Experience in a similar role within the education or trade industry

• Familiarity with MS Great Plains eEnterprise, MS Great Plains Accounting, and MS Great Plains Dynamics

• Proficient in MS Excel

• Experience with Credit and Collections

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable Aging and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Strong customer service skills

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations
