Responsibilities The Bilingual Accounts Receivable Administrator will have responsibilities in the areas of account receivable, general accounting, sales order monitoring, and more. Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Full cycle accounts receivable processing;
  • Monitoring the AR inbox and addressing inquiries;
  • Establishing and maintaining good relations with customers and internal clients;
  • Updating accounting records with new customer information;
  • Checking the data inputted into the accounting system to ensure accuracy of final invoice;
  • Processing debit and credit memos and alignment with internal controls;
  • Reconciling accounts and providing analysis of aged accounts receivables;
  • Preparing and analyzing monthly accounts receivable reports;
  • Handling external and internal inquiries related to accounts receivable;
  • Creating weekly A/R collections reports;
  • Making daily collection calls on outstanding receivables through telephone and email communications;
  • Investigating invoice issues and discrepancies;
  • Hands-on management of receivables and cash collection, preparing and posting deposits, and processing credit card payments;
  • Assisting in preparing monthly reporting packages for management decision making;
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of new processes and controls to monitor team utilization, project profitability and associated accounting;
  • Maintaining an orderly accounting filling system at all times;
  • Preparing and maintaining year-end working papers for auditing as requested;
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years? prior experience as AR Administrator in Canada
  • Must be fluent in English and French
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, credit practices & collections
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software is considered an asset
  • Diploma, Degree, or Certificate in Accounting and/or Bookkeeping
  • Experience analyzing large volumes of data
  • Strong working knowledge in Excel, Word and navigating in database
  • Strong analytical, communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and
  • Strong time management skills
Must have Skills
  • Good knowledge of accounting and invoicing
  • Aptitude to learn new software programs such as invoice platforms.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.

Experience:
  • Accounts receivable: 3 years (preferred)
