seeking an
Accounts Receivable & Payroll Clerk
to support daily accounting operations with accuracy and efficiency.
Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable & Payroll Clerk is responsible for reconciling customer deposits, applying payments, and assisting with payroll calculations. This role supports smooth day-to-day operations across all locations by ensuring that both incoming cash and employee pay are processed accurately and on time.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable
Reconcile daily deposits, cash sheets, and electronic payments against bank records.
Apply customer payments to accounts within the ERP system.
Identify unapplied payments and work with store managers to resolve issues.
Assist with month-end AR reconciliations and reporting.
Payroll
Collect and review employee timesheets, commission sheets, and other payroll inputs.
Calculate regular pay, overtime, vacation pay, and deductions for accuracy.
Prepare payroll runs for review and approval by the Accounting Manager.
Reconcile payroll registers and assist with general ledger postings.
Respond to employee payroll-related questions professionally and confidentially.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or payroll preferred.
Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of Canadian payroll calculations and statutory requirements.
Proficiency with Excel (reconciliations, reports).
ERP experience an asset;
NetSuite experience highly valued
.
Reliable, organized, and able to work to deadlines.

This is an important role in supporting both payroll and receivables at Canada Custom Autoworks. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to ensuring employees are paid accurately and customer payments are properly recorded.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
