Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing customer payments, maintaining financial records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will be working closely with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of financial procedures and resolve any discrepancies in customer accounts.Responsibilities
- Accurately apply payments to customer accounts in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process bank deposits.
- Keep track of financial transactions and generate reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify and rectify any inconsistencies in customer accounts.
- Conduct customer credit checks as necessary.
- Generate monthly accounts receivable reports.
- Perform reconciliation of all bank accounts on a monthly basis.
- Create corresponding entries in the general ledger.
- Manage accounts receivable files and ensure compliance with retention policies.
- Take on additional projects as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Strong skills in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience with Billing procedures
- Familiarity with Cash Applications
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with SAP software
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Business Central
