We're a fast-growing consumer packaged goods company looking for an

Accounts Receivable Clerk

to join our Mississauga team. This is a great opportunity for someone with an accounting background who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

You'll play a key role in ensuring our customer payments and invoices are processed correctly and on time, while supporting a collaborative and fast-paced finance team.

What You'll Do

Record and apply all customer payments accurately and on schedule Generate and send customer invoices Gather documentation and backup for all charges and deductions Enter deductions to the appropriate customer and GL accounts Communicate with brokers, customers, and internal teams to resolve outstanding invoices and missing deposits Flag large chargebacks and timing issues for the Manager Maintain a bi-weekly Accounts Receivable Aging report for management Assist with month-end receivables and reconciliations Support ad hoc reporting and other accounting tasks as needed

What You Bring

1+ year of related accounting experience Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Great Plains is a plus) Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative Great communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team EDI experience is an asset
