AppleOne is hiring for an Account Receivable position in Guelph, ON. This is a short term coverage. The AR Associate would report directly to the AR Supervisor and will review and address past due invoices; perform daily and monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) reconciliations and analysis, and support collections activities by analyzing trends and recommending efficiencies while meeting internal control requirements.
Pay: $28-31/hr dependent on experience
Option for Hybrid (minimum 2-days/week in office) or fully in office

Responsibilities:

• Complete complex reconciliations
• Compile and analyze large data sets to identify trends and resolve issues
• Prepare ad hoc reports to support management activities and initiatives
• Oversee accounting transactions in support of the supervisor, assist/provide direction to other AR staff in performing more complex tasks
• Review weekly aging report and address accounts past due and follows up to ensure all actions are completed in order for payment to be made
• Recommend technology or quality improvements to supervisor to improve AR processes and efficiency
• Monitor existing accounts and ensure payments are received within terms associated with the client
• Prepare, organize, and forward collection documentation to customers
• Provide copies of invoices and credit notes as per client requests

• Post-Secondary education in business administration, accounting, finance, or equivalent. Professional accounting designation as a Certified Credit Professional, or similar, or working towards it
• Minimum 3 years of related experience working with major chains in a high volume manufacturing environment
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience using Oracle or SAP or other EPR would be an asset
