Marcon Metalfab (www.marconmetalfab.com) is hiring an
Accounts Receivable Clerk
to join our growing and dynamic company based in Delta's Tilbury Park.
Duties include:
Assist with the preparation and distribution of invoices
Perform AR account reconciliation
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting customers
Verify discrepancies and resolve customers' billing issues
Provide customer service, follow up and solve complaints and queries
Prepare daily deposits and process credit card payments
Perform other duties and tasks assigned or required
Skills and Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role
Working knowledge of GST/HST and Canadian Taxes
Diploma in Accounting is an asset
Sage 300 Experience is an asset
Maturity and professionalism to handle confidential employee and financial data.
High computer literacy and efficiency to handle a high volume of work
Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and continuous improvement team environment
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Excellent customer service skills and a strong team player
