Thai United Food Trading Ltd. is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented

Accounts Receivable Clerk

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. We are seeking someone who values consistency, reliability, and precision in their work, and who thrives in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure timely collection of payments

from customers and promptly address outstanding invoices.

Monitor and manage aged receivables,

keeping overdue accounts to a minimum through consistent follow-up.

Apply payments accurately

to the correct accounts and invoices, ensuring consistency in financial records.

Ensure customers receive invoices and statements

on time, and maintain regular communication to support their payment processes.

Obtain and verify deduction details

from customers, which may require accessing customer portals and other systems.

Reconcile accounts receivable balances

with customer records, addressing any discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.

Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams

to resolve billing issues efficiently and professionally.

Prepare and maintain aging reports

and assist in month-end closing and audit procedures.

Qualifications:

Diploma or associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role, preferably in the food distribution or retail industry. Proficiency in spoken Chinese and familiarity with EDI processes are considered valuable assets. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. Familiarity with accounting software and Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Experience with customer portals and managing deduction details is an asset. Strong communication skills with a focus on clear, concise, and respectful interactions. Ability to follow established procedures and work methodically to meet deadlines, especially during month-end closing periods.

Pay: $48,442.49-$65,000.00 per year
