Job Description

Position: Admin/Inventory Assistant
Location: London, Ontario
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin/Inventory Assistant to join our team in London, Ontario. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience in both administrative and inventory control tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Process payments using Sage accounting software
• Perform inventory control tasks including receiving goods, creating purchase orders, and adjusting prices as needed
• Maintain and update accurate inventory records
• Prepare reports related to inventory management
• Ensure Material Test Report (MTR) records are accurately maintained and send documents to customers daily as required
• Answer incoming calls and direct them to the correct department or individual
• Greet visitors and provide a positive customer service experience
• Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and copying
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth business operations
• Cross-train in invoicing, entering payables, and other support tasks

Requirements:

• Experience with Sage accounting software (an asset)
• 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable
• 1-2 years of experience in inventory control
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative team player
