We AIM for excellenceThe Trade AP Technician is responsible for processing freight invoices, issuing payments and reconciling vendor accounts.

  • Processing outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring payment terms are met with valued vendors.
  • Validating and posting freight & rail invoices using the 3-way matching process.
  • Verifying and investigating discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
  • Contributing to process improvements where applicable.
  • Communicating and collaborating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers & co-workers; resolving issues as they arrive.
  • Maintaining complete and up-to-date records in our documentation and filing systems.
  • Assisting with audit requests, ad hoc duties and projects when required
Qualifications
  • Customer service centric, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quick-changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and a strong commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficient in data entry and managing high volumes of information with precision.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • College or University diploma with a focus on Administration, Finance, or another related field
