Thats right, we are on the hunt for an Accounts Payable Technician to join our exciting accounting department.
If you are well versed in working with financial statements, reconciliations, month-end stuff (thats what us non-accounting people say), and all the other voodoo number magic things you like to do, we want to chat. Like, right now.

What youll be doing

• Produce accurate and timely entry of vendor payable invoices.
• Complete monthly reconciliation of vendor statements and follow up as needed.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors.
• Prepare monthly invoice verifications.
• Resolve discrepancies with relevant parties related to accounts payable.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and dealers.
• Working with the team to ensure policies and processes are adhered to.
• Account reconciliations and month-end duties.

What you need:

• College Diploma or equivalent experience related to accounting.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
• Working towards a CPA would be considered an asset.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, energetic, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Well organized, assertive, diplomatic, and detail oriented with accuracy in all functions of the role.
• Experience with Great Plains accounting software is an asset (not a requirement, any experience with accounting software is an asset).
